The reason why I have been lethargic for the past few weeks was that I’m pregnant. 9 weeks to be exact :)

It feels like the first time again because it's been 6 years since I became pregnant again. No, dressing up for me too. Right now, I just want to lie down and sleep all the time.

My heels are also taking a rest because I tend to be clumsy when I'm pregnant. Just last week when I wore my ankle boots, as I was going out of the car I tripped. Now, I have this purple bruise on my right knee. The heels are for the picture only. I'm wearing flats :)

The weather here in Manila is so crazy. One moment it's sunny and then it would rain like there's a storm. Then it would be hot again. That's why I don't have the motivation to dress up. I just wear jeans & shirt all the time.

1. I only sleep with a comforter or blanket covering my feet, at least. I can't sleep without it. Even if it's hot. I feel naked if I don't have something covering my feet.

2. Travelling is one of my favorite things to do. I wish to visit Europe someday.

3. Although I live in a tropical country, I love wearing boots & jackets.

4. I have a thing for mints. I love mint chocolate, mint candy, etc.

5. I'm not good with street name but I'm very good with directions.

What's your job?

I don't have anything to blog about so I'll just post something about my job.

I have a degree in Behavioural Science in University of Santo Tomas. Then after graduating I took up another course in Asia Pacific College but after 2 semeters, I decided to drop out since I was already pregnant at that time.

Then 2-3 yrs ago. I worked in a semi-government office as an Executive Asst. The pay was good but I was not happy. I only lasted for 8 months. Now, I'm working together with my hubby & father-in-law in the family business thing. A chinese thing.
They are all relatives here. Even if the pay is not that big (compared to my previous work) I love it here. We don't have a dress code, there's no time in, I could be late. Our lunch and snack is free & we don't have leaves! I I can be absent anytime I want to.
This is the "ideal" job for me because I can still take care of my baby girl.

We sell foundry materials. Don't make me explain. It has something to do with metals, carbons, etc.

So what's my job? In the mornings, I make all the delivery receipts for the customers. Then in the afternoons, I'm an accountant-in-training. (which I totally did not envsion. I suck in math) I make cheques, vouchers, etc. I'm also in-charge of the petty cash. If I don't have any accounting duties for the day, I basically don't do anything. Just surf the net :D

My sat. was spent having dinner with some friends. We were celebrating a friends "freedom" aka single. We had dinner in Behrouz then had some drinks in Aruba. Watermelon daiquiri is the bomb!

I had one hour free time in the mall & I went to visit my favorite stores. I ended up with nothing, even if I saw a lot of things that I liked. Why? Read the convo with myself below....

Topshop store....Looking at the racks, was checking out this floral blouse....
me: ang ganda...kaso H&M, H&M, H&M, sige, H&M na nga lang. (This one is so pretty...but H&M, H&M, H&M...so okay H&M it is)

* so I left and went...

Inside Landmark dept. store
- Trying on some shoes, it's around P500/$10.
me: Bagay sa skirt ko. Pero sayang din p500, maymabibili din ako sa HK sa perang yan. (This would look good on my skirt. However, with that amount I could add it in my shopping money to HK)

* so I returned the shoes and went to the clothes section.
- Until finally I was waiting for my turn in the cashier as I was buying a skirt. When I noticed that there's no pricetag in the skirt. Since the cashier was located at the other end where I got the skirt & it would take a long time for me to pay for it because they have to look for the price. I left the skirt & ended up buying Nothing. hehe!

I have used up all of my 9 lives aka clothes that's why I haven't been posting. I'm also haven't been shopping because I'm waiting for my HK trip :)

I have this habit of buying things that I find cute. Like this geeky glasses. I bought this a couple of months ago. I even have a pink one. It's only now that I have the confidence to wear this look. Since I don't want the glasses to go on waste.

The top is see-thru so I wore a polo top. I will freeze to death in the office if I wear it like this.

Now, people in the office are calling me Betty La Fea.

Last night was a real treat! A potential supplier visited our office & we had dinner last night at Kimpura.

It was fun because our visitor is a Korean who is quite hunky & he knows how to dress up. For his tie, it was striped baby blue & white with a touch of glitter. how cool is that!

Lame title...but it's true, eversince I was a kid I always wanted to be pink5.

Hubby was taking so long, so I had 3 outfits to choose from. This one won because yesterday I was also wearing a pink+black combi.

I bought the skirt months ago. The style is not flattering for my body because it's flowy & the length is quite long. However, I really wanted to wear it especially now, that I have been obssessing over skirts.

This was the effect of non-stop eating for the whole weekend!

It started last friday when we had our dinner at Peking Garden in Trinoma, the peking duck was superb. But not as yummy as the one in HK. Then on sat., bro-in-law cooked his famous white sauce pasta! This is my fave!!!! (everybody's fave) so i ate that. Sunday, we had a lunch feast. Reunion + Chinese New year celebration rolled into one. So, bro-in-law (he's a frustrated cook, but he's really good) cooked steak, shrimps, fried chicken, liempo and crabs! (soft shell and the big kind! one that is filled with fats! the orange kind) ...YUMMY!!!!

That's why I wearing that shirt to hide my big bloated tummy
. I just remembered, this is just a repeat of my bday outfit....As usual, I was running late again & my clothes are in the laundry. :)

Been reading ghost stories the whole morning...

I really don't have anything to blog about but I will be going to dinner later :) So I will be changing into flats since I will be with my daughter.

And I finally admitted to myself that I need to go to the gym. No diet will work for me because ever since I got preggy my body got used to eating for two people. :( So after my trip, I will be enrolling in a gym.

I was finally able to go to the parlor yesterday. I had my hair trimmed and asked the stylist if he could give me bangs. Must be the influence of seeing a lot of chictopians wearing bangs & Vanessa Hudgens. (i know! a lot of ppl hate her but i love her style & hair) I hope I don't regret having bangs because I get pimples easily. haha! I'm wearing the red version of the shoes! Last photo is a close-up of my dress. :) I love the print (stars) even when it's way out of my budget for a "tiangge" dress.

I miss the cold weather. Hopefully, it goes back again next week. That's what the weatherman said.

I'm also wearing my new shoes. It is comfortable. I went up and down the stairs 3x and my feet didn't get hurt....My room is on the 3rd floor of the house & the steps of our stairs is equivalents to 2 steps. XD

I can't wait to go to the parlor after work... :)

I have been a really good girl this week. I went to the Topshop, Mango and Promod sale. I'm so loving the weather right now :) I have the perfect excuse to wear thick jackets and knee high boots! - I want to cry. My right knee accidentally bumped into a plastic container and now I have a huge wound :( I hope it doesn't leave a scar. It still hurts jacket

I bought the top and the camisole skirt months ago. I thought I would never be able to wear them but when I tried it on today, Alas! It looks good!

The shoes dictated my outfit because I was itching to wear it last night before I went to sleep. The shoes doesn't hurt anymore and it's quite comfortable.
